Don’t believe the hype; you’re not eating for 2! Recently, a woman told me that with her 1st pregnancy she gained 75 pounds. But studies have consistently shown that a healthy weight gain during pregnancy is 25 to 35 pounds (even a little less if you’re overweight). It turns out that a larger weight gain increases the likelihood of your baby being overweight. And that puts your baby at risk for health problems later in life. So, take it easy on those cravings!
